Up for sale is a great little "Barn Find" project Rambler 440 Convertible. This vehicle DOES NOT run and drive but it is very complete missing ony a few parts. We have replaced all four tires so the car will roll and steer. I have not tried to get it running but was told it was running a few years ago. The engine is a 6 cylinder and it is not locked up it is easily turned by hand. The car has a 3 speed column shift manual transmission. It has been stored inside out of the elements because of the condition of the convertible top. Most of the trim that appears to be missing is in the trunk. It does have the original hubcaps and a couple extra Rambler caps that are different from the originals. It has a solid frame for the top but the top itself is dry rotted and most of it is gone. The windshield is there (not installed) but it is cracked. The rest of the glass is in very good condition. The plan was to do the restoration but we have an additional 4 vehicles currently undergoing restoration and there just is not enough time. This is a perfect Father/ son or Father/ daughter project. There are several pictures of the underside and the rest of the car. Th trunk pan will need to be repaired or replaced and there is the spot of rust on the side which is also pictured. The rest of the vehicle is pretty solid. The frame is solid with no rust. as are the rockers. Someone before us started to strip the paint from the hood and fender. This car is inexpensive and a pretty easy restore. We keep it inside so call for an appointment to see it in person. 479-252-6241 or 479-650-2490
