Up for sale is a complete 1948 Buick 71 Roadmaster. It is in pretty good condition for its age. This car has been sitting under a carport in western Arkansas since 1985. It looks like somebody began to restore it but never finished. There is som paint peeling and some surface rust. The only serious rust I can see easily is in the trunk and spare tire well. The floors feel solid but I have not had it up in the air. I was able to see the frame as it was loaded and the frame is rock solid. Interior looks to be dirty but in good condition but I cant be sure ho strong the seat material is after all these years. The drivers side front window is broken and does need replacing. The rest of the glass is in good condition. The car does not run and drive at this time. The engine does not turn freely and I havenot tried to break it loose, if I go to that trouble I will just get it running and raise the price. It is a straight old car and is in pretty good condition over all. I have the original owners manual and build sheet (punch card back then). If you are looking for a great old project this is it. Clean title.
