Available for sale is Cosworth Vega # 1715. An excellent example of these rare cars. A total of 3508 Cosworth Vega cars were made over the course of 2 years 1975, and 1976. All of the 1975 models were black in color and many had black interiors as well. This particular car has the "Tuxedo" interior option meaning it has black dash, carpets, and seat belts, but white seats, door panels and headliner. This was a rare option on a very rare car. This car has been repainted, but was painted in the original color. There are flaws and blemishes, and a small area where rust was repaired in the door jamb for the hatch. The car runs perfectly and still has the original fuel injection and the original Twin Cam Cosworth Engine. The interior is original and near perfect. The wheel appear to have been refinished, and are the correct gold color. This car has 4 brand new tires. The original radio still works and this one has the rear window defroster option (also reasonably uncommon) that also works. These cars were not available with air conditioning or automatic transmission so don't expect to find those. The carpet and seats are beautiful and the color combination really stands out. The price on this car is much lower than book. If you are looking for a perfect example of a Cosworth Vega, keep looking this car is not perfect but the price reflects that, a near perfect Cosworth Vega will set you back about $25,000. I have seen Cosworth Vegas in worse condition sell for more than I am asking. This is a very nice driver quality classic car with a low price. If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask, we are very honest and straight forward about the cars we sell. There is a scratch that has been touched up that is pictured and the top of the left front fender is "wavy" like it had some dents that should have been repaired prior to repaint. This is a nice car!
